Glide unleashed. The second generation of the EAGLE X builds on the DNA of the original, refining performance with a new tip profile for even more glide, stronger forward drive and better control in every manoeuvre. The outline stays instantly recognisable, but the profile evolution delivers a clear, tangible performance gain along with added stability.
Downwind, the improvement is immediately noticeable: reducing lift at the extremities makes the foil more balanced and stable, without excessive power at the tips. This translates into increased glide, forward projection and speed, letting you push harder into every run without sacrificing low-end performance — every pumping movement converts efficiently into forward motion, making long downwinders more dynamic and less physically demanding.
Most of the surface area stays concentrated centrally, preserving good manoeuvrability despite the high aspect ratio of 12. The new profile and more neutral wingtips also improve control, making the EAGLE X smoother and more reassuring when carving downwind, with more progressive power delivery and the added roll needed for tighter surfing.
With such a wide speed range, it's easy to maintain a high average speed while still accessing strong top-end performance, and the efficient low end allows comfortable take-offs and sustained flight even as conditions ease. Construction uses F-One's Ultra High Modulus (UHM) carbon fibre layup — 1.2x stiffer than HM carbon and 1.8x stiffer than regular carbon — needed for this foil's exceptionally thin profile. Fitted with the TITAN 2 mast connection for improved structural efficiency, better glide and a more direct feel.
Downwinding requires physical preparation, proper safety equipment (leash, flashlight, safety vest) and assistance at sea. Please don't attempt downwinders alone or without proper training.
